Q: How can I receive diapers?
A: The CNY Diaper Bank does not work directly with families. We distribute diapers to partner agencies who work with families in and around Syracuse. For a full list of our partners and their contact information, click here.
Q: How can I help?
A: Because of our nonprofit status and our membership with the National Diaper Bank network, the CNY Diaper Bank is able to purchase diapers at a deeply discounted price. We purchase diapers at an average cost of $.13 per diaper, which means one dollar can diaper a child for a day. Donating even a modest amount of money can make a huge difference. On average, the estimated national cost of diapers is $.33 per diaper and the highest corner store costs of diapers can be up to $.50 per diaper.
If you wish to donate diapers, ALDI’s has the lowest cost/diaper without a coupon. You can also shop our Amazon wishlist.
Other ways to help include holding your own diaper drive and donating diapers at one of our permanent drop-off locations.
Q: How do I sign up to volunteer?
A: We have an online sign-up for volunteers sessions. Click here for more info. Volunteer sessions are open to all ages unless otherwise specified. We even have a small play area for little ones and moms often bring along babies in a front-carrier or stroller.
Q: Do you accept open packages?
A: Yes, we accept new, clean disposable diapers packaged or unpackaged.

Q: Where can I drop off diapers?
A: You can find a list of our drop-off locations here. You are also welcome to drop off diapers at our location on Fridays between 9:30-11:30. If no one is there, donations can be left with the Pioneer Warehouse staff. Their door is all the way on the right side of the building. Our door is to the left of the loading bays. Our address is 4645 Crossroads Park Drive, Liverpool, NY 13088.
Q: Do you accept open packages?
A: Yes, we accept new, clean disposable diapers packaged or unpackaged.
Q: Why not cloth diapers?
A: We launched a cloth diaper distribution program in Summer 2019. While cloth diapers will not work for every family—they can be a cost saving measure for many. Find more info here. If you are interested in donating gently used cloth diapers or would like to volunteer to help with our cloth diaper distribution, please contact us at info@cnydiaperbank.org.
Q: How do I host my own diaper drive?
A: It’s simple! Let people know you are hosting and why. Place a box in a high traffic area at school, work, church, or even your front porch and collect the diapers; it’s that simple! Printable flyers and email templates are available on our website. Other ideas include hosting receiving diapers in lieu of gifts for birthday parties, baby showers, etc. Please check out our "Diaper Drive Toolkit".
Or, host a “Diaper Change” Drive and collect spare change to donate or purchase diapers. As stated above, even one single dollar makes a big impact, and can provide a day's worth of diapers for a baby.
